BEST QUALITY VIEWING To insure the absolute best quality viewing, the following computer settings are recommended:
This web site is full of pop-up boxes which provide additional detail, information, and pictures. If you are running pop-up box blocking software and or have turned on browser pop-up prevention, please turn it off or configure it to accept pop-up boxes in this site (www.dinofan.com). If you cannot see the pop-up information, you'll miss a lot of fun stuff! NOTE: there is NO ADVERTISING in 'The Dinosaur Fan'. All pop-ups are directly related to the content of this web site.
I apologize in advance if some of the pages in this site are slow to open. This web site is graphically intense! The age old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words" is the hallmark of this site. I have knowingly sacrificed page speed for visual detail in page design, prehistoric animal information, and collectibles display. The good news is that, assuming you do not delete your temporary internet files, the pages will run much faster the next time you open them. The material in this web site is provided as an information source about prehistoric animal collectibles, as an introduction to prehistoric animals, and for your viewing pleasure. Nothing is available for sale except for those items specifically listed in the 'Trading' section of this site. Having said that, I currently do not have much time to list items that I am willing to sell so if you need a particular item/set, send me an e-mail (mmriley@dinofan.com) and I’ll see if I can help. As you can tell, this website is a personnel “labor of love” as they say. While I have programming skills, I am NOT a computer expert. The key is to make sure you match the viewing settings listed above as best as you can. If you run into problems viewing my site, you are welcome to contact me by pressing the 'Support' button below but there is only a slight chance that I will be able to resolve the issue. Also, if you discover “broken” pages and/or links, please do me the favor of letting me know also via the 'Support' button below or by e-mail (mmriley@dinofan.com) so that I can address the problem. |
