This set consists of 24 pairs of "Left" and "Right" cards which were designed to be inserted as pairs into a stereoscopic viewer and looked at in 3D. There are two versions of this set, a more common cigarette card size (approx. 1-1/2" x 2-3/4") and this tough to find large version. The cards measure 2" x 3".

Condition: Nice overall condition. Left edge by Euoplocephalus & Archaeopteryx is curled under. Small crease on border to left of Archaeopteryx that does NOT affect the sticker.

Orbis 1992 Dino Tausch Cards - Series 1

In my opinion, this set is one of the most comprehensive and most beautifully illustrated prehistoric animal issues ever produced. This lot contains 90 of the 96 Dino Tausch cards that were issued and is missing only #'s 91 through 96. There are three things that you should note: (1) This set is the German version of the Orbis "Swap-It!" set and as such is printed in German, (2) Although the set title says "Series 1", there was never any other Dino Tausch series issued, and (3) the 90 cards in this lot is often considered a "complete set" because the last six cards (#'s 91 through 96) which are entitled "Recent Discovery" were apparently short printed and not usually sold as part of the set. The cards measure 3-9/16" x 4-1/8".

Condition: All cards are in Excellent or better condition with most averaging Near-Mint.
