Basal Allosauroidea (Taxonomic Rank: Group)
This extinct group of carnivorous theropod dinosaurs had a distinctive pubic boot, three fingers on each hand, and chevron bases on their tails. The Metriacanthosauridae and Carcharodontosauria are listed separately.
