Roger Clemens was not banned from baseball nor was he placed on the permanent ineligibility from baseball list however he has yet to be inducted due to allegations by the Mitchell Report which, primarily based on testimony given by Clemens’ former trainer Brian McNamee, accused Clemens of using anabolic steroids during the latter part of his career.
Roger won 354 games with a career 3.12 era, and 4,672 strikeouts (3rd most all time), the third-most all time. He is the only pitcher in major league history to record over 350 wins and strike out over 4,500 batters. Roger is an 11-time All-Star, a two-time World Series champion, won seven Cy Young Awards during his career. Roger twice struck out a MLB-record 20 batters in a single game and became the first pitcher in major league history to start a season with a win-loss record of 20–1. |
