These cards commemorate feature films from around the World and were obtained through a monthly subscription service from  Monsieur Cinema, France.  Most of the text is in French although there are some subtitle translations in English. From what I can tell, there are over 17,160 of these issued at a rate of approximately 36 per month.  I believe each film receives from one to six cards that feature photos from the film, the actors, and/or the directors.  Thanks to Robert Telleria, I've been able to list a few of the cards that relate to the topic of this site in one way or the other.
