These POGS were sold in sheets of various quantities (e.g., 48 & 8).  In the case of a 48 pack I own (seePoint of Sale Section below), there are four different prehistoric animals in eight different poses plus eight duplicates of two of the animals.  This yields 32 unique POG designs.  The sheet I own contains duplicates of the Dimetrodon and the Stegosaurus.  I do not know if 7 & 7 issued other sheets that contained different animals from those in this checklist (i.e., prehistoric animals other than the Dimetrodon, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus).  From what I’ve seen, there appears to be different issuers using the same POG designs (i.e., Laser and PCs shown below). Perhaps 7 & 7 is the manufacturer and whole sells these to various issuers.
