These 'decoder' cards were inserted in specially marked Disney Dinosaur toys and were designed for two purposes:
 
  • To find a hidden “ink mark” (the letter ‘D’) stamped on the toy with which the card was packaged so that you, “know it’s a real Disney Dinosaur!”
  • To augment the Mattel Disney Dinosaur 'Dino Clash' card game by exposing hidden symbols (i.e., dino, lemur, volcano, pterodactyl & comet) which provide game power-ups.
