These memory card games were McDonald's restaurant give aways in Germany, perhaps a Happy Meal insert or equivalent.  Each game has two cards (pieces) for each of eight different prehistoric animals.  Some dinosaurs are duplicated in the boxes but different images are used.  I am uncertain how many different boxes were issued.
